Hi Trish, thx for dropping by. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could just drop everything whenever we come across an exciting project. Your new sewing room looks great. So much space. :)
Hi Joanna, I have already cut it in a performance fleece for the first sample. Most definitely cutting it in a winter wool. I hadn't though about lighter fabrics but they would work well.
Thanks a lot for sharing.. I've been looking for this pattern for a long time.. would you be kind enough to post a pic with measurements, it is a weird pattern so I can't figure out how to cut it without measurements :p...
Hi there, thx for dropping by the blog. As such I don't have measurements. I offer pattern making instructions so fans can learn to cut their own patterns. That's my thing, I am a pattern making teacher. If you have a simple loose fit pattern that fits, you can use the cutting instructions above. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. :)
This is such an interesting and exciting pattern. I want to make it very soon. Do you ever showcase the creations of your blog-fans? Love to see this one made up. Thinking stripes here.
Hi Babsox, thanks for dropping by. I think stripes would be amazing. I have made the first sample and have already decided the first set of amendments to the pattern. I will post my results very soon. Would also love to see your results. :)
Yahoo! The very pattern that was in my head and suddenly I found it on your site. Have made it up to complement my 1920's inspired flapper dress re-utilising my 30 year old wedding dress lace. Thank-you, thank-you
Hi Tina, I am so pleased to hear the post was useful to you. I have also made the pattern but think I will make some adjustments to the instructions when I post about the sample. If possible we would love to see a photo. No problem if not. :)
Extra! Love it. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThx Natasha. :)

DeleteSuch a fun design...I am sorely tempted to drop everything and try this!

DeleteYes, it would! :). Enjoying my new space...thx!
DeleteAnother great project - thank you so much for the inspiration :) Do you think this would work with thick wool or rather something lighter?
