So cool. I'm curious how modifiable it is, too. I love the idea of the zero waist. Also, if you used two different fabrics you could get two interesting tops by mixing and matching the fabric, and I wonder if I used fabric 100 cm wide, would it be size appropriate for my girls (or maybe be dresses for them). This is really intriguing to me.
Hi Kimberley. The same thing is what fascinates me. I am testing on 110cm and 120cm wide fabric too se what size the tops turn out. Stay posted, I should be able to get to this in the next few days. :)
Hi Yana. Apologies for the delay but I have had a whole bunch of workwear garment specs to do for a local company and they have me totally absorbed. I hope to get to his very soon. :)
Hi Anita, no need for apologies :) I think I'm just too excited about this one and can't wait (bit I promise to wait patiently). The latest dresses in the pattern puzzle series have been stunning too!!
I recently worked out a kimono top pattern that used 1 metre of fabric, but it had wastage. This is genius. How did it end up? Did you sew it up after all?
Oh well, it has taken me so long to get to all my sewing that it is only half made but due to be finished by the end of the week. I also have samples from different width fabrics to get the fit potential. It will all be in a sample making post sometime very soon. :)
Definitely staying tuned. I can't wait to see how this turns out. I've always been really fascinated by no-waste and low-waste concept.
ReplyDeleteThx PP. Hoping to produce something current to fashion. :)
DeleteVery cool, staying tuned too.
ReplyDeleteThx :)
