My blog ...Hi Lyn, thanks for dropping by the blog. My blog posts are pattern making instructions only at this stage. I'm working on some of the #PatternPuzzles at the moment and have two very likely candidates for turning into patterns that I will sell through my website. I have moved this blog to my website so if you drop over and subscribe you will be the first to hear when blocks or patterns are uploaded to the site. http://www.studiofaro.com/well-suited

It's all an extension of the work I do here in my Sydney studio where I teach pattern making and make patterns for the local industry. You'll find some worksheets on the website that are my first foray into getting my teaching online. http://www.studiofaro.com/pattern-making-worksheets

It's all very new to me this online world, so it's all a work-in-progress.STUDIOFAROhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17525470573256425315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738384769685792384.post-53167801809935874882015-11-03T19:27:53.194+11:002015-11-03T19:27:53.194+11:00I love this dress pattern. May have a couple more questions for you once I have tried to assemble it! I really appreciate all the information you provide here, these pattern puzzles give me a lot of ideas for adding interest to my designs. Great work with the costumes and I am always partial to a bit of plaid. ;)STUDIOFAROhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17525470573256425315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738384769685792384.post-75959687828176011162014-04-20T13:52:14.815+10:002014-04-20T13:52:14.815+10:00Hi Abigael, thanks for dropping by. Lace I am not so familiar with but I would treat it the same as the jersey and add a lining. Hope this helps and I would love to see your dress when it's finished. :)STUDIOFAROhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17525470573256425315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738384769685792384.post-46755120348719515472014-04-20T04:10:44.130+10:002014-04-20T04:10:44.130+10:00This is great! The pattern is much clearer in my mind, now.

Would this be possible in stretch lace/jersey? And would the grainlines still apply? I am new to stretch but am interested in giving this a shot. The big difference is understanding the first large tuck covers the bottom of the CF to waist seam. Also important that under wrap is sewn into the right side seam. :) STUDIOFAROhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17525470573256425315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738384769685792384.post-48111338053332972912014-04-13T19:51:34.810+10:002014-04-13T19:51:34.810+10:00Looks more difficult than the twist skirt at first...Looks more difficult than the twist skirt at first glance...but is it?Gailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622769905155059570noreply@blogger.com
